Job Responsibilities 

The following responsibilities are associated with this job role:  

    Reports to security supervisor Handling heavy large and fragile luggage to OOG Screening area Moving OOG items from Landside to Airside via HAL screening facility Placing Baggage tags on to OOG items and keeping record on bingo card Sign on and off the station in to DOL Full ARL uniform and good grooming standards Log duty in/out using Time link on Time Gate Perform and provide courteous and polite but well-founded customer service Queue control and general assistance to Airline passengers and check – in staff Allocating passengers to available check – in desks Working as a team 3/4 members sharing work with exceptional communications Moving OOG items from Landside to Airside via HAL screening facility – (As to Local HAL Process in place) NOT leave their posts unless relived by another agent or Supervisor Notify the Control Centre immediately if any incident occurs First person before starts His shift in the morning he must put up all signs and barriers in the Check-in area accordingly. Last person after finishing His shift in the evening must remove all barriers and signs form Check-in area and leave it in designated airline store room

Qualifications and Competencies

    Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays) Ability to speak and understand the English language Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required Willingness to work in inclement weather Physically fit, able to work in a manual environment and repeatedly lift up to 32kg throughout a shift. Able to work as a team in a fast paced environment A full driving license an advantage, not  essential  Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired Ability to speak additional languages is desired

    Passport NI Card Proof of address (bank statement, utility bill or full driving license) 5 years’ work/education history with no gaps CRC/GSAT will be required
