Job Summary

As a Porter for the Heathrow Upgrade Premium Services you will be providing baggage assistance to passengers arriving or departing on all Heathrow Airport Terminals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Departure

When the party arrives at the airport, you will meet them by the terminal forecourt or entrance and transport their luggage to check-in.

Arrivals

When the party is arriving at Heathrow you will meet your party by the baggage carousel in arrivals. Your will remove their luggage from the carousel and take their luggage to a point of transport from the airport or to a waiting friend or relative.

Required Characteristics:

Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate in good verbal and written English Physically fit and able move light, bulky, heavy or multiple items of baggage Good Positive Attitude A current and valid ID/passport/Visa Proof of NI Number (NI Card, P45 or P60) A 5 year checkable employment/education history No unspent criminal convictions

Qualifications:

General Security Awareness Training Required ( GSAT ) Manual Handling – Fire & Safety – Health & Safety Training CRC OCRC (if stayed abroad for over 6 months in past 5 years)
