Working on varied cleaning tasks in a friendly team your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and cleaning wash rooms/toilets, offices and accommodation areas. Other duties may be required as assigned.


Initially this is a 37.50 hours per week requirement. Additional hours may be available if operationally required.



Job Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are associated with this role:

    • Mop, sweep, dust and vacuum  • Empty bins, remove waste  • Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly • Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously • Assist colleagues in other areas of the airport as required • Comply with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority security requirements • Comply with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) • Produce work-related documentation when required – job sign off sheets • Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all time • Other duties as assigned 


Qualifications and Competencies

    • Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays) • Ability to speak and understand the English language • Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available • Must be able and willing to learn  • Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required • Passionate about customer service  • Self motivated and able to work independently • Previous experience working in cleaning and/or an aviation environment is preferred • Ability to speak additional languages is desired  • Hold a valid full UK Driving Licence desired
